BLEACH Mirrors High story & original cast

The post–Thousand-Year Blood War setting and the distinction between story cast and playable lineup.

Mirrors High Guide editors · Checked October 30, 2026 · Launch coverage

Where the story begins

The official introduction places this original story after the Thousand-Year Blood War. A lone soul awakens in Karakura Town, beginning a new Soul Reaper journey. The game also describes avatar and Zanpakuto customization.

This establishes the setting. It does not, on its own, settle every question about manga continuity or canon.

Meet the original story cast

The October 28 announcement introduces 15 original characters. Their presence in that announcement should not be read as proof that every one is summonable.

  • Kuon Hoshimura
  • Maiko Tokishima

Story cast versus battle roster

A character can appear in the story without being part of a release summon lineup. Our character directory keeps the official release lineup and subsequent introduction separate from this story cast.
